The mission of the Kay Bain Weiner Glass Art Educational Foundation, known as the KBW Foundation, is to stimulate interest and growth in the industry through educational projects. One of the goals of the group is to attract more people into the glass arena by providing scholarships, supplies, and books to high schools, and other educational venues.

The foundation is commited to supporting art teachers bringing art glass into their classrooms. One way we do this is by sponsoring booths at state Art Teacher Conferences. This connects art teachers to resources and information. We also award $250 grants to art teachers for materials for their classrooms. It is our view that enrolling students in the passion of working with art glass at a young age will provide them with a hobby for a lifetime. It is our intention in this upcoming year to provide teachers with art glass lesson plans that have proved sucessful in the classroom.

We are always looking for donations for this purpose. Please contact Denny at vinery@vineryglass.com if you might be willing to make a contribution of materials, time or money. All will be graciously accepted.
